Get Caught Reading

Kids watch, listen and learn. Be an example for them and “Get Caught Reading!” Get Caught Reading is a nationwide campaign to remind people of all ages how much fun it is to read.

The Crown Point Community Library was honored to have the support of some of our
community leaders ....who have all been “caught reading” their favorite books and magazines for our campaign. Posters can be viewed at their businesses, at the Crown Point and Winfield Branch library, online at crownpointlibrary.org and on our Facebook page.

Check them out here:

We want to see you get “caught” reading too! It’s easy to do; just take a picture of yourself, your family and your friends reading anywhere...at your house, in a car, at the park....anywhere and
everywhere! Next, send them to Laura in one of these three easy ways:
1. email to lclemons@crownpointlibrary.org
2. mail to Crown Point Library, 122 N. Main Street, Crown Point, IN 46307 or
3. bring your photo to the Crown Point Library anytime during the month of May.
Don’t forget to include the names of the people in the picture and the location. Photos received by May 15 will be displayed at the “A Hole Lot of Fun” mini golf event on Saturday, June 1 and all photos will be online at www.crownpointlibrary.org as well as our library Facebook page throughout the summer reading program. We can’t wait to see where you “get caught reading!”
